Simplex Solutions Added to the Russell 2000 Index
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ --
Simplex Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLX) today announced that it has been chosen
to join the Russell 2000® Index, according to a list distributed by the
Frank Russell Company.
The Index took effect on July 1 and remains in place
for one year. The Russell 2000 stock index is recognized as an objective, market-based
benchmark for evaluating investment managers.
As of the latest
reconstitution, the average market capitalization was approximately
$530 million; the median market capitalization was approximately $410 million.
Total market capitalization for the Russell 2000 is $1,060 billion,
